just got my new redcat monson i followed everything in the book like it said to do the car started and ran for aproxx 10 sec then shut down i grabed the pull starter and could not pull it it is like its jamed inside or something can any one give me a idea whats wrong or do i need to send it back?

You probably flooded it take the glow plug out turn it upside down for an hr or so then try again don`t prime the carb too much 2 drops is all you need.
Edit: This is one thing I got in the habit of doing to stop over priming, I put in 2 drops then I turn on the radio and receiver and open the carb full bore before I try and start it, or you can just slide the carb out so the fuel drops down. I`ve found alot of times it just sits in the mouth of the carb then guys over prime cause it won`t start.

still wont pull the plug has been out for 2hrs now and it acts like the motor is froze up it wont let any string out. any one have any ideas befor i go to the hobby shop

I would pull your pullstart off and see if something is binding up in it. That is really all I can tell you. I had that issue with my Tornado, and finally the pull start broke. My dad had a spare rotostart so I put that on it.
