faster engine for my tornado???

Default faster engine for my tornado???

What is a faster engine that will fit my redcat? Small block that will accept the 2 speed clutch bell.

What engine do you have? is the tornado a xl,bb or s30 ?

I have the sh, I am just curious if another motor would be faster. Maybe an os, not sure, just researching.

Maybe different gears I don't know alot about the gears or tranny, but someone here will.

well a beter engine would be OS 18TZ turbo... it makes about 2.0Hp and the only problam is you want to watch, becouse it may strip other things out...

Edie: sory the real specs... 2.28hp @ 30,500 and 83.1 oz.-in@ 25,850Rpm... so it is a lot of power!

horsepower, torque, rpm... these are all estimates that manufacturers come up with to sell engines.

The TZ 18 IS the most powerful 18 that you can really buy at the moment. If on a budget, the CV-R .18 should be up your alley, its pretty darn powerful for less than 120 bucks. I have one in my tmaxx, but that maxx is junk! Couldn't keep the traxxas together long enough to keep the OS in it If it was powerful enough to do a burnout on pavement for all 4 wheels on a TMAXX, its MORE than enough for your tornado
