you prolly have the oil coming from the exhaust....which engine are you beaking in?...if its a .18 .16 put your high at 2 1/2 out you low flush with the collar....if its a .21 or .28 2 1/2 out on the high speed needle and 3 1/2 out on the low...basically the .16 and .18 collar is approx 3 1/2 out...if you go flush with the collar on a .21 or .28 your to far out...here is a pic to help u out

The servo locked up. Ive got the Tornado S-30. Which radio by the controller or the servo? The controller is an am frequecny and the servo was hispeed 3003 or sumthin close to that. Failsafe??? No killswitch yet gona get one now LOL

sounds like you had low batteries...I suggest using reciever hump packs...less likely to jar the battery loose then running AA's...a failsafe dosnt kill then engine...it locks up your brakes when either you run out of range or you have low battery....it however does not activate your brakes if you loose battery power to the reciever (battery jumps out of the holder)....if you are using AA's in the reciever I would wrap a rubber band around them

i just bought new batteries 2 day i think i might of got a rock stuck in the servo area cuz the servo was lockd up i changed batteries and no luck i took the servo apart to find the gears lockd tight even with power on. All it would do was hummmmmmmmmmmmm. I also wrapped the batteries with a rubber band when i first put them in. My father in law had the same thing happen to him after i had to call him to tell him what happend

you also might check to amke sure your crystals are in tight....but sound like you need a new servo.. I do believe redcat has a 30 day warrenty on electronics...so you might wanna email Darin and see about getting a new servo
