I am thinking about going 1/8 scale and want to get an affordable truggy or buggy. I found them for a lower price here: [link]http://www.affordablerc.com[/link] (don't worry dealers, I'll buy my parts from you guys!!) and seeing as they are so close in price I wanted to know which one you guys think is better! The truggy seems like it might be more durable but I want to hear from the people here who actually own one.

I own both of them and there is no way I could choose I love both trucks just as much. It's really just a preference if you like buggys or truggys. btw good choice of trucks you'll enjoy either one of them.

Well the Hyper 7 I've never driven never even heard of it b4. The hurricane has a larger engine sh.28 great engines with the p3 mod. The Hyper 7 has a .21 engine and I can't find what make it is. The good thing with the hurricane is I know it's fast and strong and with redcats engine replacement program your that much more protected and the support is awesome thats why I own 3 going on 4 now lol.

once you get the qwirks out of the hurricane it is a very tuff buggy...it will be faster then the monsoon and just as durable if not more durable...I think people have been having trouble with the elongated clutch bell on the monsoon and with some modding you can put a standard clutch bell on...the hurricane is a heavy buggy but it is a good basher.. with either one use tire glue on the threads of the screws that attach the front arms to the hubs....this is the only trouble the buggies have givin me...I went through four sets of hubs because the threads would pull out of the hub..since I used tire glue on the threads I have had no trouble at all...as far as the hyper vs. the hurricane the hyper would be a better buggy if you plan to race. the hurricane prolly weighs more. the monsoon would prolly be more forging and better handling
