The EPX is just the standard run of the mill car, although I have the Tornado Epx buggy and I'm definitely happy with it. The EPX pro models come with a faster brushless motor and esc. Now it's just up to you on what you want to buy.

The EPX pro is definitely faster than the regular EPX. Like I said I have the regular EPX and I'm just fine with it. I tested it's top speed with a hand held Gps, and it hit 18mph. I don't know if I would pay a 100$ more but I don't know if you would. I mean you are getting a Brushless motor and esc.
