Default shockwave

my friend just got a shockwave and his shocks are kinda weak. is there a way to tighten them

What do you mean by weak? If you want them to be a bit stiffer you can put in thicker shock oil. I put some 40WT in my friends buggies shocks and it worked a lot better than the stock half filled shocks!

like am said put some 40wt or 45wt shock oil in them....also if he bought the buggy new it schould have came with some spacers to preload the springs which will give the buggy a stiffer ride..just be carefull not to give it to much preload or you lose steering power

First you have to take them off (I'll assume you know how to do that), then you take off the clip at the bottom that holds the spring on. Then take off the spring. After that unscrew the top of the shock and pour out the old shock oil onto a wadded up paper towel. After that fill the shock almost to the top leaving some room for the seal. Then slowly move the piston up and down a few times to get rid of any air in the oil and reassemble the shock. Then do the same thing for the other three!
