RE: RedCat brushless system question
Thank you.
Can you describe what the cut off at 6 v would be like?
Would it kill all power for about 10 seconds and then work again for a few seconds and then repeat that cycle?
Thanks ( trying to diagnose a problem) - it is not working with my new 7.4 volt 2cell 6400 mah lipos. The esc gets real hot and then acts as I described after only 10 min of runtime.

RE: RedCat brushless system question
I would suggest running a cooling fan on the esc with that kinda battery.
What you are describing is the temperature cut off. it trys to stop the car before damage can be done to the esc.
The 6v cut off will stop putting power to the rear wheels but will still allow you to steer
