I SCORED!!!!
So i was lookin to sell my pit bike that i had right. It was a no name jap bike, 125cc 4 speed with clutch. It was pretty nice, had no problems, but i was lookin to hopefully get like 500 for it. Well a guy on craigslist was sellin 4 redcats and a t maxx for 500, or trade for??? yup a pit bike. So i went down and picked em all up!!! There was a hurricane pro, it had a blown motor, but i knew that joey was lookin for one, so im gonna sell it to him if he wants it. Then he had a nitro 1/10th truck and on road car. The truck is a little beat up and does have a ton of compression, but doesnt seem blown, he said it runs. And a 1/10th volcano electric truck. Its nice because i was gonna end up buying an electric anyways. And then the t maxx is a roller. Doesnt have electronics or motor, i would sell it anyways, so thats gonna be sold. So i think i got a pretty good deal, it also has extra wheels for the maxx. Plus i got a bunch of extra parts, and misc stuff like screws and all that, and an extra vx.16 with a lot of compression. So its pretty nice, ill end up selling the 1/10 nitro truck, and im gonna keep the electric for sure, and maybe ill keep the on road, but if i need the cash i will sell it. All electronis work, i think i got pretty lucky. Because i couldnt get out too much with the bike, and these i can play with all the time!!
Ill post some pics tomorrow, had ot go straight to my gfs house so i couldnt get any tonight

RE: I SCORED!!!!
By the way, i traded my go cart, which was probably worth like 250 for the pit bike, straight up. It was a single seater with a new 6.5 hp motor on it. But it neeeded a clutch and a chain which is like 60 bucks. So i went from a $250 go cart, to a $500 pit bike, to five rc cars lol. So thats why i scored lol

RE: I SCORED!!!!
Just ran the nitro truck, it runs great. And the on road has a stripped spur but it started right up and seemed to run great too. Ill fix that and get her runnin good. The only thing is my electric one, i used my gf's dad battery because mine was dead, and it ran good, then after i charged mine it ran literally 20 feet and would sputter, so it was dead. So i charged it again and it went a little longer but died after a minute or so. Plus it had no so great power. So i know i asked this before but what are some good batteries? what are you guys runnin? i know some guy reccomended the associated wolf pack, 4200 mah or somethin like that, they are 30 bucks, so i figured if i get two, i can get 20 bucks off a 50 dollar order. Tower sent me an e mail, so thats 40 bucks for 2 pretty good batteries. And if a charger charges at 1, 2, 4 or whatever amps, how long will it take to charge?

RE: I SCORED!!!!
The answer is all your battery problems is LIPOS. Derek, I'm telling you dude, lipos are SO much nicer. Hobbycity.com has EVERYTHING you need. 5000mah 2s 7.4v lipos for $27. That'll give you over 30minutes of run time. Plus they have chargers and lipo sacks too. 100% safe and 1000times better than those Nihm's. Once I buy the VXL Rustler off my father-in-law, the FIRST thing I'm doing is ordering at least 4 of those 5000mah lipos. 4 batteries and over 2 hours of run time. WOW!!! Step it up, come play with the big boys.......hahahahaha j/k
