Default Best Volcano Alum Parts

I have the Volcano S30 and have already broken a shock and lost the pin that holds the rear lower arm on. Its obvious Im gonna beat the crap outta this thing. So I would like to know what are the best parts to upgrade to Alum and what parts would everyone recommend I have on hand as extras.Again Im going to beat the hell outta this thing, so if some of the Alum parts are easy to break as well then I would rather stick with the cheaper parts.

Also, I want to upgrade the shocks ASAP. I am not comfortable modding the body on this thing so a straight bolt on is what I am looking for. Can someone please point me in the right direction. I have been surfing this forum for HOURS!!! and still cant seem to find a working link to a good set of replacement shocks.

And is the electric start worth the $$?

If you are going to bash it hard go with plastic parts they will give before breaking unlike Alum ones. Also Alum transfers the shock down the line and you end up breaking other parts. Tmaxx shocks will fit #3762A [sm=shades_smile.gif]

meh its more to carry with electric start, ya its nice but i dont think you need it. If its tuned right it should start right up, one or two pulls. But redcat has some big bore shocks for 30 bucks or so and they work real good

[link=http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.849850/id.1026/.f?sc=14]big bores[/link] I believe they are just the landslide shocks, if so then this is the right link. But it looks like there out of stock, so you'll have to wait for redcat to get more

rufaster.com has them for $13.00 a pair. Just type in 60003 in the part # search.

Are the spring retainers on the aluminum and bigbore shocks still the type that just turn and pop off easy like the stock ones have? I lost one of mine the first time I drove it hard now the springs just hanging there.
