Alright sweet cause i was cruisin craigslist last night (which i havent dont in forever), and i posted a tornado im selling and just after i posed it someone posted "1/8th scale gas 4x4 truck". So i click on it and its a earthquake. He says the motor runs but wont start because the pull start wont grab all the way, so it should just need a new one way or for it to be cleaned. I was like oh cool, but i got other things to buy and dont wanna spend a bunch of money on it. Well turns out he's only selling it for 175!! I got him down to 150 and im about to go pick it up. Even if the motors blown im gonna get the 6 port sleeve and piston and new one way and make that thing haul . Thats a pretty sick deal to me. Ive thought about converting my hurricane to the avalanche because i love the trucks, and where i bash its pretty rough and the trucks have better ground clearance, but the hurricane handles better and i wanna eventually try to race.

This thing is clean, i think he said he ran it like 6 times, body is perfect on it, so either he babied it or he didnt run with the body, but the car itself has no damage. Not even any scratches on the chassis. The flywheel is pretty hard to turn so ima take a look at that.

If the flywheel is hard to turn you probably have a good engine  lub it up and let it rip [:-]

I ended up gettin a team infinity .27 for cheap, so i threw that in my hurricane, and put the sh in the earthquake, because i wanted the extra torque for the quake. Things a beast. Wheelies super easy if the wheels can get traction, like in grass.
