Volcano 1:8 conversion

This is my new ongoing project. Outfitted with a custom carbon fibre plate to extend the rear bulkhead 3 inches, this gives the volcano an overall length of 20 inches. And with the new tires and upgraded suspension, I have a whopping 16 inches of width. Now all thats left is finding a new body for her

I like converting 1/16 vehicles to 1/10 and modifying them.....
Heck, I like converting ANYTHING...LOL!

did you change the gear ratio or is it stock?
if it's stock, those huge tires will hurt the bottom end torque.
those tires look alot taller than the stock ones...but it could just be the way the pic. was taken.
it looks really cool so far!!

I just found out these tires max out the power on my stock servos, any whereabouts on what stronger ones i should get?

Wow, she has a nice "rear end" . Kinda gives me an idea on making a hill climber. Just add some length to the rear......... That will keep it from rolling over........

Wow, first time I seen this.. Sweet job on the chassis extension mod!! Did ya make the top (purple) extension too, or just the carbon fiber bottom? Looks trick!! Has she held up ok since the build or have ya had any probs?? Thanks for sharing!!

Its held up perfectly, no bends or cracks whatsoever.
