Default Volcano 1:8 conversion

This is my new ongoing project. Outfitted with a custom carbon fibre plate to extend the rear bulkhead 3 inches, this gives the volcano an overall length of 20 inches. And with the new tires and upgraded suspension, I have a whopping 16 inches of width. Now all thats left is finding a new body for her

Sorry for the bad pics, it was taken by my phone, updates soon to come.

Looks great! I would like to see the chassis without the body on.
I like converting 1/16 vehicles to 1/10 and modifying them.....

did you change the gear ratio or is it stock?
if it's stock, those huge tires will hurt the bottom end torque.
those tires look alot taller than the stock ones...but it could just be the way the pic. was taken.
it looks really cool so far!!

Yeah, the diff ratio is the same, but Ichanged the tranny spur to a 52T with a 12T clutchbell. Ihave more than enough torque to turn the 6.5 inch tires.

Wow, she has a nice "rear end" . Kinda gives me an idea on making a hill climber. Just add some length to the rear......... That will keep it from rolling over........
Good Job! [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

The top purple mount are upper arm braces from a savage Its held up perfectly, no bends or cracks whatsoever.
