i ordered a vx .18 motor from nitrorcx and the motor was just thrown in the box. i picked it up and heard the motor rolling all around it had no smaller box or protective packaging inside the large shipping box at all. Also the screws on the pullstart were almost half way out. Is this normal over at nitrorcx or is sombody gettin a little lazy.

I would send it back, and then go through the engine replacement program from redcat to get a sh which is a better motor for only 50 bucks
Plus that would just sketch me out like it was used or something. I wouldnt use a motor that came to me like that.

That's a sign of poor shipping and packaging for sure. Was there at least a branded box that the engine was in? or was it just the cardboard box they shipped it in?
Personally, i'd get an RMA or whatever and send it back. That company would get a 1* rating from me in the end for that.

it was a carboard box and it was damaged also im pretty disapointed but the motor didnt seem to be broken in any way. Today i mounted it and got half way through break-in and it started raining so i put it away the motor runs good actually better than my other vx motors do. i just hate going through the hastle of return shipping items. im very happy with the motor but the packager and the person who built it need a new job i think lol
