i so want one of these trucks. i have a rs10 and love it.
im gonna put some trucks up for trade in the marketplace. hopefully i can trade something i have for a rockslide.

I bought the dual batt wire from them and I use 2 6 cell nmih 4200 mah and it fried my esc it took off then started smoking when u called and asked why they would only give me a replacement at 10% off and not warranty replace the part so I bought a better one be careful with the stock one with stock stick to one batt with high mah for better run time but with the two batts it did take off like a bat out of Hell

yeah, thats what i was thinking.i bought 2- 7.4 volt 3800 mah batterys and ran it for as second and it was way more powerful .
i think ill just stick to 1 at a time

Well as I have a few days to wait for my aluminum steering servo horns to be delivered I decided to take my diff apart and fix the the OP's issue above only to discover that Redcat obviously decided to improve this design themselves. so below is the pic of the current gear that was shipped in the Rockslide I got a few weeks ago

I had the same Servo problem with the press fitted gear .. I used some JB Block Weld to hold the gear in place, so far its working good..
