hey guys just seeing if any of you run your cars in the snow i have a tornado epx pro and think runnin in the snow this winter would be a blast, any of you run in the snow what do you need to get your car set for it. what and how do you waterproof your car thanks

I dont think water is allowed to get inside the motor, and its open so its not that hard to get in. A way to waterproof something is to get a waterproof motor, and a waterproof esc, or put the esc and reciever in a waterproof box. Then get waterproof servos, or seal up the servos real good.

i'd say go with traxxas waterproof servos and esc with the boxes i had a slesh and i never had a problem with water

I am not 100% on brushless motors but with brushed motors you are absolutly ok if you get them wet. People acually break in brushed motors by basically dunking them in a glass of water. I would makes sure to spray a little motor cleaner or something in there and make sure the bearings still roll freely.

Or you could use liquid electric tape which works well sealing every thing.

thanks all for your suggestions, thankyou pede those videos were amazing, really informative. but the only thing im not sure about yet is the brushless motor i know he said brushed motor was fine getting water into them but said nothing bout brushless does anyone have any answers on that?

Ya thats true i forgot about that pede, ive actually broke in a brushed motor with rubbing alcohol, supposedly the rubbing alcohol helps clean it or something like that.

well the traxxas vxl brushless system is water proof. if that helps any.
