If it is new they have a coating on them with the engine off hold the brake on and push it by hand for a little bit and see if that works if not you might have to adjust the linkage for the brake or tighten the 2 screws that hold the brake together but not to much you don't want it to drag.

Ya know, I had the brake on my Tornado set to drag a little off throttle. Figured if I was on the gas it'd be free, and if I was off the gas a little drag wouldnt hurt since I was slowin down anyway? Still rolled pretty good (coasted) as well? It may throw it outta whack if ya jumped it though, since the brake would slow the wheels down (and make it nose dive) if ya let off in the air.. But I was just bashin in the back yard..
