Default Fail safe on a Volcano S30

Ive been poking around eBay and some online hobby stores and have seen fail safe units. Some of the units ive come across say that they must be used with LiPoly batteries.

Just curious if anyone knows a good one (or ones) that would fit and work in my Volcano S30. Ive seen my friends RC trucks go out of control and would like to avoid having the oh...sh*t moment.

Ive never heard of a failsafe only being able to be used with a lipo. I think a few are the venom failsafe, and duratrax.

Awesome! Thanks alot Mickstix.

I thought it was a little strange to see the description limit the fail safe unit to only Lipoy batteries. But hey, Im new so what can i say :P

No problem and welcome to the forum!! It seems like I heard somewhere that some failsafes dont work with lipos? So maybe the one you saw was just stating that it was, in fact, lipo compatible? Who knows, but I do know that one will work with your S30!! </p>
