has anyone swapped out the front and rear diffs with any other brands such as traxxas or hpi?
what gears fit so i can go to the hobby shop and pick up new gears.
also
has anyone locked the front and rear diffs?
i plan to do it and will make a how to video about it but i was wondering if anyone else has done it yet and if you have any tips.
both my front and rear diffs are missing teeth front 1/2 gallon of fuel.
now redcat i am not happy that all these parts are failing after a short time.
my rear diff went out completely so i swapped out front and rear so it is now only rear wheel drive.
but still a half gallon of fuel and i have replaced at least 15 parts since i got this car and some parts were replaced 3-4 times.

I think your gonna be even more dissapointed if ya lock the diffs.. Wont turn worth a darn. But I guess it's better than not running at all, if that's what your doing it for? If you plan on keeping the buggy, you should find out if the Hurricane XTR parts fit it.. Looks like about all of their "ultralight" stuff is having duribility issues..

That's right, spools work great, if you're going straitthat is. just make sure your diffs are shimmed right and don't land on the throttle and you'll be alright.
