Default deans to tamiya

hi i have the redcat vortx ep pro just wondering how to change the power plug from deans to tamiya plug please help show pics if avalible........

The deans plug is a better connector and handles more current draw. A Tamiya plug may get hot and melt. But if you need to convert just cut the deans off and solder on a new tamiya plug.

You're better off changing all your battery's to Deans....

if you are going to change from deans to tamiya (molex), make sure you cut ONE wire at a time. Cutting both at the same time will cause a direct short.

I cut the deans off and put the tamiya on for a customer and he has not had a problem out of it, he's running the 7.2 3300mah batt.
