So yesterday I tried starting my earthquake got it started then it doed and was having issues getting it startted and keeping it running. Well as I was pulling on the pull start it got stuck like it wouldn't recoil back in.........I loosened the glow plug and took it out and went back in but as soon as you tighten the glow plug back up you can't pull the starter ? Any input ???

u have flooded the engine. go to redcat.com and watch the how to vids, or youtube and search alishanmao hes a redcat pro tester. hope this helps. i have the earthquake 3.0 and have watched tons of vids on how to set mine up, now it screams like a banshee!!!!

it ain't flooded trust me...... someone suggested the spring on the pullstart could have snapped.

try loosening the pullstart from the engine and see what happens before you pull the pull start and check the spring

if the spring is broke you can get buy and put a bend in the end of the sprig where it broke. this works prety good. it just takes some patience.
