I have destroyed two stock Redcat servos in mine. I have a new one that they just sent me, I am thinking about using it in my Shockwave and just upgrading the Avi servo.
I will be looking at your recomendation on the Hitec.

Kimbrough servo saver... I hadn't thought about that. I have the aluminum Redcat servo saver and an aluminum servo arm on it now. I may have to order me on of those and give it a try.
I did order a servo on ebay that a buddy of mine has in his Monsoon and Savage. It is pretty strong and has metal gears. I am also going to adjust the servo saver to allow for more flex.
As long as I am driving it over smoot land it is fine, but rough ground with those big wheels at high speeds is just too much for it to handle with a stock servo.
