Lightning converted to Vortex. Traxxas shocks andVXL 3s motor/esc comboand Venom 3s 4000mah. GPM 2.2 wheels w/ Proline Switch tires.

Just thought i would throw in a couple pix of my Caldera I've done away with the plastic front end and added 6001 alu it is stout and loves to jump i also improved the slipperclutch to a composite pad that lasts forever.. Also a wicked exhaust that adds some sound. I can't see not protecting the engine either.

my rs10 crawler with VW body, some custom parts and a 3s capable ESC.

my redcat lightning epx pro, with stock motor and a ezrun 35amp ESC. she has a few different bodies.

my volcano epx pro, just dropped my VXL system in that, running a 3s lipo.

my sumo with custom body.

I'm new to all this as well have had my truck for about 2 years now....only drove it a hand full of times, when i was braking in the engine it went crazy and ran off down the rode hit 2nd gear and smashed into a bird bath at full speed, and the bowl fell on the truck.
It snowed 3 days ago and i was out playing in the snow figuring if i was close to the truck it would not run off, well it did, picked up speed hit a big brick block and flipped when i picked the truck up the wheel was all hanging.
All the dog bones are bent, Front 2 rims cracked...So yeah...I'm in the proccess of rebuilding it and waiting on parts, closes RC store is about 250Miles away, so everything i need i have to order it.
Going to paint the new body camo when ever i get a chance.

And can anyone help me with what size tires will fit on the "<font class="carttext colors_text">HPI Mag-8 Wheel Black 83x56mm"</font>? They are the 17M hex but not sure how the tire sizes work on these RC trucks.

I want a nice tred like the <font class="productnamecolorLARGE colors_productname">"Pro-Line Maxx Masher Tire T-Maxx</font>" has, in facted i would like the mount that tire on the rim if it will fit, witch everything i have found i do believe it will fit Any advice? thanks.

I had the same problem with my Redcat Caldera if tou are ysing alkaline batteries that out of control full throttle thing can happen. Get the rechargeable hump pack with charger and the chargrer adapter solder in line the adapter for convienient charges and you will be good ..Their are many kinds of tires available tower hobbies i think the 1/8 th scale 3.5 17mm but not sure how big the t-maxx tires are.

Well, there are a lot of nice cars on here, so I decided to post mine.

It is a RedCat Racing Tornado EPX. I have left it all stock, so on pavement, my top speed is about 19mph. As of right now though, it is sitting in its original box, because N.J. winters and that car don't mix all that well.
