RE: Redcat Racing Volcano Thread

I have a problem:
when I pull my pull starter which is brand new btw, it only turn the fly wheel once..
i will pull it the full length and it will only turn once or twice...
but if i pull it very slow or to the side, it will crank like normal..
it makes starting a REAL pain, thats why i replaced the starter but my problem hasnt stopped
could it be the oneway bearing perhaps?

I had the same problem and my truck is only a couple of weeks old. I've thought it was the pull start too, but it was the bearing.

I was wondering, if you take the front drive shafts off and make the truck 2 wheel drive, will it slow it down? I just had to rebuid a tornado BB due to a totaling crash, And Im debating on putting them front ones in.

It will also put more strain on the drive train than it is built for since its a 4wd.

I made a set of aluminum lower arms for mine, and the shock tower. A local machine shop may can help you out.
