well thnx but i was talking about the brand,,,,this is what i'm planing to use:
HPI Thread Lock
For use on metal-to-metal fixings
Helps avoid the loosening of bolts & screws

also am i supposed to cut a hole in the front off the car body?
thanx again

RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread

that thread lock is fine and yes, if its a nitro, a cut out helps keep the engine cool

RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread

make the hole around your fuel tank so you can fill your car up with out having to take the body off

hey eddie or anyone else in here. i just got the steering knuckle for my avalanche and i dont know how to get the part out of it to put into the new steering knukcle. the part that is hooked to the dog bone kind of like a u joint type thing and it is hooked to the extender that the wheels hook too. does anyone got any suggestions?

ehroof 01-18-2008 10:48 PM

RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread

you mean on the avalanche, your in the tornado thread, lol..

there is a screw inside of the extender, that screws into the shaft i think and i think there is a pin under the rubber o ring on the extender

hey how do u adjust when the gears change?
what do u use?

ehroof 01-19-2008 12:45 PM

RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread

2 speed shifter on the trans, there are 2 grub screws on it, one keeps it on the shaft, the other adjusts the shift time. Clockwise makes it shift at higher rpms and counterclockwise makes it shift at lower rpms.

[X(][X(]I was cleaning my tornado and noticed that im missing a grub screw on the shifter,im like "no wonder my tornado would shift when its going like 35mph".
