1618pullstart $29.99 I think

HPI makes one that works if you look back threw the threads, other wise all the dealers on here stock them and so do I[&o]

not worth messing with man just get 2 Speed Clutch Assembly Part number: 02045 and install it. $4.99 I think on that[:-]

RE: pull start

put some blue thread locker on that set screw, put a drop, let it out 2 turns and put it back in 2 turns, this way it stays put and it at the stock setting, that should be a good setting but if not, you have the thread locker there already

how do i replace the on way bearing???? pics would be nice

TannerReagan 06-04-2007 09:15 AM

RE: pull start

i just had my pull start apart yesterday and i think all you do is just take off the pull start cover and there will be a rod sticking out of the engine with a bearing that looks like a nut.I think but it was my first time taking it apart so...maybe someone has pics of it i don't know.

it just pulls off the shaft or out of the pullstarter. very easy.
