Default pull start

My pull start is broken and i need one that will fit my tornado bb. Does anyone know where i can find one for pretty cheap???

My 2 speed is also messed up and i need the grub screw and spring that is what makes the 2 speed work and i don't know where i can get one.

1618pullstart $29.99 I think

HPI makes one that works if you look back threw the threads, other wise all the dealers on here stock them and so do I[&o]

My 2 speed is also messed up and i need the grub screw and spring that is what makes the 2 speed work and i don't know where i can get one.
not worth messing with man just get 2 Speed Clutch Assembly Part number: 02045 and install it. $4.99 I think on that[:-]

30.00 bucks for a pull start!!!!!!!HOLY COW, I'm going to try to fix the recoil again.

the hpi will definately fit, the redcat one that allen posted it a direct fit too, you can get the 2 parts fromt the same place

I bought everything to fix my car so hopefully it will be up and running pretty soon, Hopefully the parts get here fast.

where did you get them from? If clermont, you should get them fast, i get stuff in like 3 days, 4 the most

put some blue thread locker on that set screw, put a drop, let it out 2 turns and put it back in 2 turns, this way it stays put and it at the stock setting, that should be a good setting but if not, you have the thread locker there already

i just had my pull start apart yesterday and i think all you do is just take off the pull start cover and there will be a rod sticking out of the engine with a bearing that looks like a nut.I think but it was my first time taking it apart so...maybe someone has pics of it i don't know.

it just pulls off the shaft or out of the pullstarter. very easy.
