polising motor
how would i go about polishing my motor, what would i need to do to polish it, and what parts shouldnt i polish, etc.. its just the stock motor, or should i not waste my time and hours on doing it?

RE: polising motor
you need to round the sharp edje's on the ports on the sleeve and the crank, it will make the fuel and air flow easier giving you an increase. i would suggest trying it on the stock engine, this way if you mess up you can have a good excuse for upgrading the engine. do a search on google to get some pictures.

RE: polising motor
Hi Mike, how you doing, i sent you an email last week, i havent seen you around for a while, all is good?
|
RE: polising motor
so basicly i just add the cuts into it, theres no holes or etra holes i have to make.. is it worth it, or no.. and if i were to mess it up and than the motor crash on me, would that be fine for the motor replacement warrenty?

RE: polising motor
you dont add cuts you just smooth the sharp edge's and you can use the engine replacement program no matter what you do.

RE: polising motor
maybe he means the tear drops coming off the bottom of the sleeve ed.?
|
RE: polising motor
could be brother, i am not too sure what those cuts are for

RE: polising motor
I thought he might be talking about polishing the out side of the engine to make it look good[:@] if thats what your talking about thats a big NO NO because the aluminum needs to be rough to disipate the heat, if you polish it the heat will stay in:(
