ehroof 01-31-2008 03:30 PM

RE: RTM (Ready to Modify) Models Live

more power, easier to tune, holds the tune. its just an all around better engine, i like my vx engines too but this is just better.

RE: RTM (Ready to Modify) Models Live

if you have a redcat, you can trade your redcat engine in on it and take 50% off the price

p3t3v3x53 01-31-2008 04:44 PM

RE: RTM (Ready to Modify) Models Live

yeah i know so it will be a little less than $50 thats a pretty good deal considering traxxas brags about thier engine replacement when u only get like $30 off a new engine

ehroof 01-31-2008 04:52 PM

RE: RTM (Ready to Modify) Models Live

yeah, i can get the 3.3 for the same price at my lhs as they want for thier lifetime engine plan.

RE: RTM (Ready to Modify) Models Live

I see that they are doing 1/16th RTM what other engines wil fit I mean I dont think there are very many small engines out there I know of a few like little picco and i believe toki make some bbut are they compatable with redcat without a bunch of mods those might not sell good any input on this

RE: RTM (Ready to Modify) Models Live

you are no longer going to be able to get the Toki one. So you are down to Picco, Sirio and SH.

be sure you tell the kiddies that the big jug that says "DANGER! TOXIC!!!" is not kool-aid

remember: if the kid has a circular burn on his/her hand or any other body part tell their parents that that it is from them being curious and wondering how hot the exhaust port is....not from a cigarette. haha

make double sure they dont drive it into oncoming traffic.

RE: RTM (Ready to Modify) Models Live

how old are your kids....being a kid with actual RC's seems to make you grow into the hobby really quick just becuase you look up to people that are completely stunning when it comes to certain things, like racing. take me for instance, i look up to adam drake because someday i want to be an awesome racer.
