RE: BINGOOOO !!!!!!!!
Put the grand in the bank and wait for the 1/5 to arrive.lol
|
RE: BINGOOOO !!!!!!!!
you should wait and see the price of the 1/5 first. im guessing you could get one for that much money.
though my 1/8 buggy is nice, and you could always upgrade everything you wanted on that. |

RE: BINGOOOO !!!!!!!!
ORIGINAL: Macanan I may get the traxxas though because I already have a 600.00 Tsunami it cant hurt to have both I agree with Two Many, that Reverse and auto start (and even a 2 speed, IMHO) is more trouble than its worth. I ran with a Revo guy this weekend and his reverse was broken, and his auto start Jammed, so he had to work on it for 35 mins, while i Drove my Volcano! I WAS impressed with the way it handled Jumps Tho..... If ya got a race track near you, I would go with an Avalanche(I wanna Steal the one my Buddy has a go racin with it). No racetrack? I might go wit something that has a bit more Suspension, Like a Revo (Take off all that extra *****!) or a Losi Lst2. Post us some Pics of what ya get! |
RE: BINGOOOO !!!!!!!!
no race track.......get a savage:D

RE: BINGOOOO !!!!!!!!
ORIGINAL: pede_kid I'd go with the monsoon over the avalanche. The avalanche uses thinner buggy arms and hex extenders (extenders puts more stress on the suspension parts), but the monsoon uses thicker arms and no extenders. Also, I wouldn't go with the T-Maxx. I use to be on the traxxas forums a lot (but ever since redcat I haven't been) and if you look in the market place and look at why people sell their T-Maxx they say it's because it costs too much to keep it running. I have the Monsoon. Its strong to be sure and I think its Ideal for racing. My Friend has the Avalanche. Those arms are BEEFY,even with the extenders, which are very Thick n Sturdy. Trust me:D the Avalanche is just as sturdy as the monsoon...... |
RE: BINGOOOO !!!!!!!!
Hey Marc... I don't have an opinion but I just wanted to say SWEET WIN!
Congrats on the moolah and enjoy whatever you buy. [8D] |
RE: BINGOOOO !!!!!!!!
With anything you buy your going to upgrade Look at the Tsunami I built/upgraded from a buggy, it cost me $600.00 to do that, so regardless of what I get there's going to be money put into it, and I don't go based on what everyone says, how can someone learn about a product if they don't try the product out themselves to learn first hand on how it is, that way if anything does go wrong I can say hey I have/had one of them and this is what I think about them. This is the deal I got which I find it to good to pass up.

Nice truck, a guy down the street has one. That thing is wicked fast, when it hits second gear on the street it comes unglued and almost impossible to control.
Have fun... Lee |
