RE: Body Post

What do the stock body posts look like?
I always make my own body posts out of aluminum.
Do they mount on the rear(or front) shock towers?

RE: Body Post

mounts on the shock tower . the fronts are fine it just the back that need to be longer.. u wouldn't happen to have 2 laying around that u could ship me :-)

RE: Body Post

my volcano came with a hummer body and has super long rear posts. They snap real easy and i just keep lowering them since they brake at the bottom. I'm just gonna switch to a shell that dosent need long posts since my lhs cant get them. its too bad since the volcano looks real mean with the hummer body on it.

I would have to have the shock tower in my hand to get the spacing between the bolt holes. Got an old shock tower laying around?

That will work. I usually get my round stock at Lowes or Home Depot.

If you go to your LHS and check out Traxxas after market body mounts, you might find what your looking for [&o]
