Nitro motor cleaning.

I would like to clean the motor of all of the sand and stuff inside the cooling head and off the motor. I used compressed air to get all of the sand off of it. Now, the stuff that is stuck on and is not coming off with compressed air I would like to get off. I've heard that some people use WD-40. Now that it is running correctly I would like to keep it clean. Thanks.

WD-40 and compressed air. The WD-40 won't hurt the electronics so you can spray the whole thing down and then blow it off. It also helps to lube the bearings and stuff.

Yep that's all that I use.

Ok. That is what I was looking for. I must go buy some WD-40 now. Or soap and water and an old tooth brush?

With the WD-40 you dont have to worry about the oil getting into the bearings and breaking down the grease like you would if you used soap and water. WD-40 is safe on the electronics as well...the best stuff if you ask me.
