Spad skis
Here are some quick and dirty coro skis! The 'spine' of the ski is just a piece of 3/8" plywood, some #6 screws to attach the corro, and a length of coat hanger on the bottom for a runner/skeg to keep them tracking straight! (simply poked through the core and bent over to hold in place) Then we add some rubber bands to pull the tips up, add some string on the tails to trim the skis to the desired level!
These skis are oversized and work great. Too many people use skis that are too small and the models won't travel well on powder. These ones will, however navigate the worst snowmobile tracks and foot holes with ease!

My Feedback: (11)
I made a pair out of gutter pipe, and installed them on my BTE Flyin' KIng. I didn't get a chance this winter to try them out, but they should work fine. I used some Tufstrand to limit travel, and hardware springs to absorb the motion. The plane isn't a SPAD, but the skis sure are!
