You can still bring up the plans pages SPAD To The Bone - Free Plans
RC Groups still has a SPAD section.

The old SPADWORLD site died with lack of traffic, the members that were driving it and the man who was paying the website bills have moved on with plenty of wonderful memories but last I knew he was restoring classic video game machines. The originators Kraut and Tattoo I haven't talked to for quite some time and they were done in the early 2000s Tattoo was playing Bluegrass and rescuing greyhounds with his wife Sassy whom he met through SPADs. Kraut stayed in the service, I don't know where he went from there. As stated, Frosty still has his duplicate site Spadtothebone.org up with the plans listed. Look at the free plans tab, find something you want to build and click on it, you'll get a downloaded pdf.
Coroplast, like everything else, is a petroleum product so it's fairly expensive but people in the signage business are still making campaign signs out of it and plenty of other useful tricks. Compared to balsa and OH MY GAWD have you seen the price of that? Coro is still cheaper AND bounces. As far as I know you may still be able to order the pvc pipe at Home Depot with the correct code.
I retired and figured I'd have so much time to fly model airplanes. What I have time for is getting grandchildren on the schoolbusses and picking them up, running them to practices and all that such as my daughter is a nurse with those 10-12 hour shifts and her man likewise has a schedule that having a couple of floating grandparents really helps. Times they are a changing but SPADfest memories are still some of the best. Well, when I broke Big Plane at the end of it's first SPADfest and walked all the way back with my booboo lip hanging out, that one hurt. That fall when I ran out of gas with it inverted at a SPAD funfly and broke it again, I was all laughs. And when I flew it into the back of a semi trailer that was parked. AHHH Big Plane and Flippers.
Y'all have fun whatever you do. Stroll through these pages here, at RCUniverse, on Facebook with the old folks and hell, start a X account focused on them if you want. I've met friends from all around the world thanks to SPADs.
