Aerobat 40?
I was think of getting an aerobat 40 from duraplane. What is uall's opinion of that? Is it a good plane? Any good mods or tips for the kit? Thanks

Build one of these. DPS wing coro tail aluminum boom out back. Flies awsome.

You can get them at Tower, but here's some advice,
They have a high wing loading, meaning they fly well under power, but cut the engine and they sink like a brick. I built a 40 inch span plane much like this for a 25LA. It flew very well because I kept the weight down. I then modified it by putting 2 aileron servos in the wing and I bolted my MDS40 to it. The weight was now around 5 or 5.5 lbs and the wing loading was 35+. It was fun to fly at 3/4 to full power, but it sank like a rock when I cut the power to land. Take offs were tough too. I went to hand launching. It was much better with the lighter 25LA and only 4 servos. This plane should have been kept under 3.75lbs.
