K&B .61 on a Spad3d?
I've got a good running K&B .61, and I don't want to sacrifice a brand new .46 on a Spad3d. Any problems with using the .61? It's only a couple of ounces heavier than a .46, and probably isn't much more powerful.
Do I need to beef anything up? Of course, I use common sense in conjunction with the throttle.
Regards,
Robb

I have 2 setups SPA3D's K&B .61 and a OS FP .60 no beef just mount and fly,its nice to have all that reserve power.I can also fly on those real windy dayswith a few more clicks of throttle here and there have fun.

Sounds great. My K&B .61 turns a 12-4 with authority, and will transition to full throttle instantly after minutes of idling. Time for me to get started I guess!

RE: K&B .61 on a Spad3d?
I just built a SPAD3D with a Magnum .65 GP/SE and had to beef it up, it had to much flex in the fuse. I made a double U-channel fuse 4-1/2" wide and 40" long, stretched the wing to 40" and enlarged the tail feathers. Haven't had a chance to fly it yet cause I'm still waiting on wire for the wing, a definite must on this one! I'll let you all know how it does.
