Default Has anyone done a mid wing SPAD??--in->

If so, where can I find the plans?? I've been flying a foam'ed wing SPAD for about a year now and love it.

I had the same thought today. A mid wing would be great.
I was planning to build the wings as two pieces and use lite ply on the inboard ends with the spars glued to them so I could mount bolts and put nuts inside fuselage to hold wings on. I also thought about using a wing tube to join the two halves thru the fuselage. Was thinking about somewhere around a 56" wingspan. That should haul booty pretty well and be aerobatic.

there have been a few mid wings with removeable wings (and fixed) i think theres even a tutorial in it some where atr SPADworld.

Woodsy,
I did a search for mid wing designs and got 3224 results. Everything in creation but mid wing. If you could remember where you saw that I would really appreciate knowing.
