Default Spad Control horns? Can't find 2.5" PVC

Hello,

I am buidling the SPAD 3D and found everything except the 2.5" PVC, I looked at ACE and all my local hardware stores.

Heck I spend more time in serching for the PVC than building the SPAD 3D

I mainly finished the SPAD 3D, for mounting the wings, stab and fin to the fuse I used metal backings that came for my car speakers.

They worked great.

But if can't find the 2.5" square PVC for the control horns, what else can I use?

I have standart control horns but doubt that they will be suitable for coroplast due to small base area.

Just go to any hardware or home store and get yourself one of those blue electrical outlet boxes. They work great to make control horns. Spad cheap too...

Henry, Al,

Thanks,

I will first try the electric outlet box as I need for only control horns, 10ft is a little too much for that.

regular "balsa" plastic control horns work just fine too. Don't be afraid of the small footprint. WIth the plastic back plate, they are A-OK.
