Default PVC Pipe (Found the right stuff this time)

The other thread got a little 'messy' so I made this one.

http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c....it.A/id.765/.f

10' Section for $9.88. They do make you cut it so it can be shipped. Shipping is $8.50 with your choice of Fedex or UPS.

Fewski:

Excellent! I have been looking all over the place for the stuff. HD, Lowes, and Menards don't carry it, so don't waste your time. I did find one website:

http://www.genovaproducts.com/catcon.htm

Look under vinyl gutter systems and accessories. The stock# is RW200/RB200. They have an 800# for ordering: 800-521-7488.

To follow up on my previous post, I talked with customer service at Genova products today (800-637-6050). A very pleasant woman told me that they would ship individual 10' lengths, but they had to be cut for shipping. The preferred length for model plane enthusiasts was 40" giving three pieces. The price:

10' length of 2.5" X 2.5" white gutter pipe (stock# RW200) = $11.28
Shipping and handling = $8.00

Anyway, you're looking at $6.43/40" length. Assuming the shipping doesn't increase proportionately, you might save some money by ordering more than one 10' section. Incidentally, they'll take all major credit cards.

What was even more interesting about our conversation, was that Genova would research the caller area by zipcode and see if there was a local supplier. I checked a couple of zipcodes and found several suppliers, so you might be able to buy locally.

Ciao,

Uh-oh... our top secret gutter pipe sources have been revealed!!!

Amazing what a little forum searching and phone calling can turn up, eh?

I'm sure shipping costs to Japan will be much more than $8, though...

Sources for down spout has never been a secret. It has been a constant subject on this site for years. People, including those in japan have to engage their brain and do a little reading before they open their mouth and ask stupid and repetative questions.
