Okay so I'm building a Dominator and it says to put in 5 degrees of downthrust. What's the best way to do that?
I'm using HDPE for "stepped" firewall/motor mounts...should I cut the bottom lip a little deeper? If so how much is enough?
Or is it easier to just trim the fuse? (How much?.....)
So many planes to build and so many questions.....
Thanks

the dominator plans are really old. I'd not put any downthrust in it, unless the plane climbs under power. If it does, usually you can set the trailing edge of the ailerons up about an eighth inch and cure the problem.
This is one of those things that have changed over time, but the plans haven't been modified to reflect that change in thinking.
