RE: YS Prop Drive washer
YS prop shafts are 8mm with a 8mm x 1mm thread, but the collet rides on the front beariing sholder witch is 3/8". So the bore of the collet is .375 not .312 (8mm).

Servo, thanks for the info. Your answer saved me from ordering the parts and not having them work on my particular engine.
Jimmy, sorry buddy still 2 stroking it lol. The drive washer on the Rossi .45 is hit and miss on the runout so I was wanting to get a replacement to give a try. I usually have to heat up the drive washer before clamping it down on the collet and then hit it with a dial indicator. Takes a few tries until I can get .005 or less runout. I think the collet has been machined a little too loose on the crankshaft so the taper may be changing slightly when it clamps down.

Speed,
Yeah right. You just got caught trying to come to the dark side and had to make up some nonsense to throw everyone off. I'm sure you are working on a 515 sq inch Machi with a pattern pipe for a YS 1.15. Come on, we're all friends here (even if you make videos of people shooting up awesome airplanes), no need to hide the truth here. If it helps you can just PM me for YS tips so as to keep it out of the public eye.

Trust me buddy when I get a YS powered Macchi running you will be the first to know.............Well at least the first to get beaten by it LOL. I was thinking about an all composite version with skin hinges and all. No pipe, just open exhaust like everyone else. Hell the Macchi is so clean I could get away with a .91AC. Had one of those at one point.
