I am getting ready to build my first race plane and was wondering where would be the best place to do a build thread, also to get information about building these planes tips and etx or where to get a prop for example?

I think a build thread here on RCU is the best place - lots of knowledge, some of it even good on here.
Questions for race specific giant scale stuff maybe go the USRA web site at www.usrainfo.org

Here is an article on the fule system set up.
http://usrainfo.org/fuel_systems_formula_1_alcohol.htm
You can go to usrainfo.org to ask about buying a rtf gt8o converted to alky and you would be set. Fred Sattler makes the props and he is under the link to the vendors and suppliers to GSR.
All classes currently fly 6 laps on the 1600' and yes the time is 2:00. You need a 150 mph plane, and a pretty good turner as well.

Wow Rev, your planes look great and who ever Flyer is your Gr is beautiful. My wife Tabitha and I are excited about Kansas and can't wait! My voice is well rested and ready to put some additional excitement in the air!!!
