Default New FAA Laws

I am getting back into racing and my friend sent me this link....man...I have missed a lot. I guess now besides having AMA, putting your life history in the plane...now we have to register with the FAA now to fly our planes.... http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015...l?intcmp=hpbt1 . After doing research...looks like AMA has no choice but to follow this.

I believe you only have to register if your plane is over 55 lbs

I just tried to create an account on the website (https://registermyuas.faa.gov/login) and the system must be overwhelmed because it didn't work. Obviously a ton of people are trying to comply and have brought the electro-magic registration system to its proverbial knees. What a piece of crap! One more lucid example of virtually every government employee/bureaucrat (e.g. EPA, FEMA, etc.) fabricating problems so they can justify getting their buddy's jobs! I sure wish I worked for the government so I could be wrong 99.999% of the time and still keep my freakin' job!!!

Correct, and as part of the registration process you end up agreeing to not fly above 400'. DONT register!

Anything the feds get their filthy paws in only makes things complicted, expensive, and abusive. The feds have done such a great job with Obamacare, the V.A., and the IRS, how could they screw this up...right???

I received my PERSONALIZED registration number! For convenience, it's only 32 characters long, obviously double encrypted utilizing a binary key transposed to a hexadecimal algorithm, consisting of a non-sequential alphanumeric strand, decodable with a Scooby Doo decoder ring! Like I said... for convenience!
