Yea verily, doth anyone haveth any idea regarding as to when the 2017 RCPRO Warbird Tucson, AZ (TIMPA) season kickoff shall commence? Alas, I am hopeful it will be February 25th, 2017. Happy New Year compatriots!

Feb 25 is the same weekend as the Phx 422 race ?
Pretty sure Tony, Roy, myself and maybe others will be in Phx that weekend.

Myself and Ray Brindos would like to attend any other weekend in Feb as that's the same weekend as the Yuma Airshow.

Several pilots along with the contest management discussed this topic after the December race in Tucson. I believe Saturday, Feb 18th, 2017 was the tentative date that was agreed upon as the best compromise date (many other events in Feb including the pylon race at Speedworld, the Yuma contest, a jewelry shop in Tucson). I have heard no confirmation on this date as of yet.

Thanks Roy. I don't recall the discussion but that's normal for me. Was going to check with John G. yesterday but we were rained out. I'm going to see him Wednesday and I'll ask him to verify the date on this post. Would like to see this years schedule myself so I can schedule ahead of time. In any case I won't be working the race, I'll be flying. Happy New year to you all. That includes you too Dino....can't wait to do battle again.
