A reminder that the SpeedWorld RCPRO Warbird race is this Saturday, October 22. After we finish, we will take the best from this and the spring race and flyoff for the 2005 World Championship.
For those unfamiliar with the RCPRO rules, they are very similar to the SWRA rules with exceptions:
- No scale points
- One day event - register in the morning and fly
- No mufflers required for 4-strokes
- Breakouts 8 seconds less for all classes. Bronze = 2:30 Silver = 2:00 Gold = 1:30
Your plane must pass a safety inspection and we do NOT allow EZ-Connects for any control surface.

hey
i see a stang, a dago and a navy trainer in one photo, and the dago looks like it has a large engine in it. i have a dago, same size, with a jett90 in it, and thought it would be too big for race rules. is this 45 size allowed to have a 90 2c(585 or so wing span sq in)
photos loked great, i gotta get to one of these races in phoenix !!

heres a pic of dans plane in the gt class

Mflood you will fine the displacement/wing area key at the this site for the RCPro warbird series at this site: http://www.rcpro.org/html/rules/warb...cing_rules.htm
An interesting note about this new series is at this event its the first time I have seen the grandstand full all day long.

Our next race is just 7 days away on Saturday, March 25th!
I'm busy putting an engine back together that got "blowed up" at the last race (!).
Hope to see you all there-

The weather looks like it will be fine. This should be the biggest turnout yet for our 3rd annual Mardi Gras race.
If it continues to grow we will have to limit entries.
Just a reminder that we do NOT allow 'Easy Connectors' to be used on any flying surface. You can use them on retracts and throttle. At almost every race, we have to turn away a newbie due to this rule.

It's that time again, sports fans! The "Octoberfest" RCPRO Warbird Race at Speedworld will be on this Saturday, October 28th.
This is always a good race. Great club, TERRIFIC workers, the best weather. Don't miss it!
There will be a somewhat "experiemental" entry: a small electric (brushless/ LiPoly) P-38 in the Bronze class, and maybe even an 80" gas-powered P-47.
Hope to see you there!
