Well, I put an OS AX 120 with a mac tunned pipe going under the wing. It fit in the cowl nicely and I hope it goes fast. I'll post some pictures when I get it done.

with the OS 120 you looking at about 95-110mph. we have a one at our club with a gms thats been tuned up some and its just barely hitting 118-120. the best prop for the GMS has been the 15x7. for the OS I would work on getting the the most out of the 15x8.

I have the OS 120ax in a H9 p-51. I have the pipe on it. the 15x8 is the fastest but I dont have the pipe optimized for it yet. I was supprised to find out that the OS turns a APC 16x8 at 9,800 though.

I have a 15-10 APC prop on it for starters. We'll see how it goes. I almost have it all together. Just waiting for some pipe mounting brackets that I ordered from Central Hobbies. Oh yeah,I have got to do the pilot and the decals. Can't wait to see it run.

Has anybody else got this plane?

had my toni clocked at 112 mph w/ a jett90lx last year. the engine was new and runing fat at the time. that setup along w/ the 120ax should get you in the 120-125 range. have had a few different setups w/ this plane. jett90lx, 120ax, os90fs, ys110 and 120. the ys felt the fastest to me.

I have two little toni's now, one electric and one glow.

The electric has a 14x10 APCE E, Actro 40-5, 100amp ESC, 12S 3300mah Lipos, about 4kg all in, blistering performance, but getting zero marks in competions for sound, so......

Set up identical plane, but with new OS 95V four stroke engine, going to start with a 14x8, not expecting the same speeds but should be lighter, and better all rounder, might get longer than 10 min flights?

Anyone have any thoughts? The scale routine includes loops rolls, immelmans, split 's' cuban 8, etc etc.

I fly one with a YS 1.10fz. I can change props for different types of flying. I use a 14x10 for aerobatics, or I can put on a 13x13 for speed. The 14x10 will do the largest loops you can think of and helps slow her down for landing.

I know this is an old thread, but I finily got a Little Toni from a RC swap meet new for $100 with servos.

The seller had a .61 2c that he removed from the bird, I do not use nitro on any plane I have. so I was thinking a DLE20 would be great motor for this bird.

But I have 2 DLE 30's laying around doing nothing, so Gess what guys a DLE 30 will just fit!!!!!

It came out to 8.25 pounds ready to fly, I put my 5 cell reciver pack, and 4 cell nicad pack for the ignition, in the tail after the tail former. The only led needed was 5 of the little led peaces in the wing to counter act the motor, Side CG.

I did my first really quick maden flight today durning lunch.

The DLE30 has a built in rev limitier at 10K and the only prop I have laying round was a 16X10 APC (prop speed of 95mph). So this prop at 10K was great! But I got a 15X14 APC comeing in the mail!!

And Im sure It to will spin real close to 10K if so thats a prop speed of 135mph, and with the thrust of this set up it should come real close to that speed.

Ican say she is as fast as my stock GP Rifle, but my goal is to have a gas powered bird thats is close to 150mph.

Also I did kill the motor off durning landing, and it was a great landing plane at this weight.

Sorry it was such a rush I had to shair!

No over heating issues. There's so much of the head exposed. If all gose well I fly it to day with the 15x14

15X14 should be a real jump in the air speed. It should be interesting.

Awaiting your post with the results.<br type="_moz" />
