Default No more Ultra Thrust?

I just got off the phone with Performance Specialties and confirmed that they are no longer making or selling Ultra Thrust mufflers. I am in the process of putting a couple of airframes together for Warbird racing and am just wondering about other mufflers that will be a good replacement, any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

T.

I bought one from Nelson on the 17th. Try buying one direct from Nelson.

I just spoke to Dave today when ordering some props and such and didn't think to ask about the mufflers. I did ask what he was going to do now that Nelson quit making engines and he said "retire". Makes you realize how small our hobby really is when one person decides to stop making something and it changes the whole program.

Jett mufflers are just as good, but I wonder if he will be able to keep up with demand.

I'm surprised he's not selling the business or is he? Making the engines can be a PITA, but the mufflers and some of the other stuff are no brainers once its developed.
