Default A Poor mans Scale Heli

Hey guys, this one is nothing like the models that have been posted so far, but with limited income I think it'll turn out fine. This is just the beginning. These are kyosho nexus 30 mechanics (hush I said limited income) with a 46 engine. As you can see I have already acomplished quite a bit. This body I found on ebay NIB for any 30 size heli for $50 including shipping. That guy is selling another one Item number: 6012792114. I have to do my own would work, and I would like to make a hughes 500 MD with rocket pods and nose gear.

That heli is awesome. I don't know if the accessories will be way off scale though. I guess it can be that much different.

try this-go to Ebay and search,"Little Bird Helicopter"-its a 1/6 th scale toy chopper made to go with 12" tall Ultimate Soldier action figures. The helicopter itself is 2 & 1/2 ft long and a foot tall.It has rocket pods and a lotta cool accessories. It may be just the size you need
good luck

Thats a 60 size, the little birds are converted to 28 and 30 sized from the old small frame mechanics like the original shuttles.

Roy have you seen my new scaler?

Yea I have a soft spot for old scale choppers and Jet Rangers so that meets both criteria.

You think you're poor!
This is what I've got to work with. PiccoZ hardware and controls and a 1:72 Italeri static kit. I'll keep you posted on the progress. The fit looks like it is right on and now we'll have to get the lift.

Did you get the lift? Those little things don't like weight. Where did you get the uh1f huey? I tred the RAH Comanche, it won't fly. Looking into vacuum forming. Alot of sites showing how to do it with household items.

Those are all great!

I am just learning to fly on a Raptor 50 Titan. I
am not real interested in 3d, but once I learn
forward flight and can fly around I think a scale
project would be fun!
