new to scale
What are some good manufacturers of scale helis?
Do I have to buy the whole kit or are there any "conversion kits" that I can use on my current pod and boom helicopter? I have a Spectra G gasser.

RE: new to scale
My vote is with Vario as well.
With most of the higher end scalers on the market most have mechs made by the same manufacturers. You can however put other mechs in some brands of fuse. Emile (copterdoctor) is putting a set of Century mechs in a Vario body.
When you want to mate mechs and bodies that have seperate mfg's you have to make you own wood work or re-work the existing wood kit. That's one of the joys of scaling is the scratch building part of it.
For a Spectra gasser I'd look at the bigger scale bodies on the market. In the Vario line up the ones that come to mind would be the large Carbon Wolf, the H 500, the larger Bell 205, Bell 230.
