Need help identifying helicopter
Hello everyone,
Just saw the movie "Chill Factor" on tv with Cuba Gooding Jr. At the end of the movie, the good guys (US soldiers) fly in three Huey's and another one, the lead helicopter carrying "Colonel Leo Vitelli" played by "Daniel Hugh Kelly".
Anyway, this lead heli looked awesome, with 8 rocketpods or something. Can someone help me identifying this helo? I'd sure lilke to build a scale model of this. [8D]
Many thanks!

RE: Need help identifying helicopter
Hi mrasmm,
Thank for your help bud. I knew that it was a familiar one and searched for a while; it's an Aerospatiale/Westland SA 341 Gazelle
Now I've got to find a manufacturer of this kit. I need a nice project to help through the winter

RE: Need help identifying helicopter
ahh good deal =)
maybe some guys will be able to help you out with that one. I dunno much about scale suppliers. Depending on what size you are looking for you might want to look up a user here on RCu named darthdk or something like that. He makes his own bodies and distributes them through vendors. I think he mostly works with the 300 sized heli's though. I'm not sure what size of kit you are looking for, but GL finding it =)

Many thanks bud
I already have a Darthdk Jetranger fuselage for my T-Rex 450. Right now I need to find myself a 50, 60 or 90 size Gazelle kit. I found out that woman are right "Size does matter"
Of course that means that I'll be looking for a BIG fuselage

Weetobix,
You're absolutely right!
Unfortunately I haven't been able to find one. It seems that these fuselages are out of production [&o]

I dont know how handy you are but maybe an EC 135 with some serious mods would end up looking similar?
