Default Question...

I am planning on going to scale rc helis and want this fuselage http://www.scaleflying.com/product_p/kf-ah64g5.htm

Why do fuselages cost so much?, and what 500 size heli would fit, and what other accesories would be needed?

WTTB...

Looks like a nice project. Not sure about the cost, seems reasonable to me given a quality fuse and a Boeing licensed product as well (never seen that before!). Given the effort that goes into producing a quality product and the number of sales expected, to me $299 seems reasonable. It looks like Trex mechanics will fit so I'd go with that option if you can.

From the website:

Trex 500 </span>
Epoxy and carbon fiber fuselage.

the multibladed head and tail are only options, not necessities
