is the rascal 2 speed kit worth it

i just wondered if it is worth getting a 2 speed kit for my rascal and wat speeds it can do before it and wen u got it

It's like fifty bucks and yeah, it's worth it, it's like having really high gearing and really low gearing at the same time, great acceleration and even better top end speed! Plus it sounds awesome when it shifts and it'll make the Rascal go like 20 mph faster.

Most 2-speeds are user adjustable, so you can set how soon or late in the rev range it changes gear. I think penguinblaster was slightly optimistic with his "20mph faster" claim, you're probably only looking at 5-10mph gain in top speed - most of the benefit will be in acceleration.

The stock Rascal does 35mph. With the 2-speed it will do 40+. That is pretty darn fast for such a small truck. I have customers that say thier Rascal does over 50mph, but that is unlikely, it just feels and looks like it is doing 50mph because you normally dont see something that small going that fast!
